CLINICAL EVALUATION

Clinical evaluation

The clinical evaluation has the following purposes and objectives:

✅ Identify the presence of behavioral or emotional patterns that may be affecting the person's quality of life in various contexts and settings.

✅ Understanding that for a person to have autonomy and independence, it is necessary that they have optimal development in their adaptive behavior and functional skills. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of these skills can help, from a clinical point of view, to design intervention programs adapted to each case.

✅ Identify the presence of indicators related to behavior, socialization, communication, cognition, emotions and personality that may be related to the presence or absence of a specific disorder or trait that may be affecting the patient's quality of life.

✅ Through questionnaires directed at external informants (teachers, tutors, parents, etc.), it is possible to identify the areas of strength and weakness of the person in the various contexts in which they operate.
